Naruto

A shinobi from the Uzumaki clan of Konohagakure, Naruto Uzumaki. Naruto put a lot of effort into winning the village’s respect after he joined Team Kakashi, all the while pursuing his ambition to become Hokage. He became known as the Hero of the Hidden Leaf.

Synopsis

The Nine-Tails struck Konohagakure twelve years before to the commencement of the series, decimating most of the town and killing a large number of people. The Fourth Hokage, the head of the village, gave his life in order to imbue Naruto Uzumaki with the Nine-Tails. The attack left Naruto orphaned, and the villagers rejected him because they thought he was the Nine-Tails itself out of fear and rage. Even though the Third Hokage forbade discussing anything associated with the Nine-Tails, the kids carried on their parents’ enmity towards Naruto. Naruto pledged he would one day surpass all previous Hokages in the village because of his need for recognition.

Background

The child of Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage, and Kushina Uzumaki, the second jinchriki of the Nine-Tails, was born on the night of October 10. The Third Hokage made special arrangements for Minato to protect Kushina’s seal containing the Nine-Tails while she gave birth to Naruto in a remote location with the help of midwives and Anbu. Tobi, a masked assassin who tracked them down, killed the midwives, Anbu, and grabbed Naruto, necessitating Minato’s rapid rescue and teleportation of the boy to safety.

When Hinata Hyga was being tormented by three bullies, Naruto first encountered her. Despite not knowing her, Naruto jumped to her defense right away, but the bullies overwhelmed him and knocked him out cold. They also ruined his red scarf. Hinata praised him for assisting her and gave him back his scarf when Naruto awoke, but he let her keep it. He didn’t realize that moment was the beginning of the girl’s increasing affection for him.

Iruka Umino, who served as a substitute older brother to discipline Naruto and motivate him to work more, became his teacher after he joined the Academy. In an effort to make friends with Sasuke Uchiha, who was also alone himself, Naruto ran into his classmate Sasuke. However, out of envy for Sasuke’s abilities and popularity, he developed a one-sided rivalry in his quest to outperform Sasuke and hope that one day, Sasuke would accept him as an equal.

Personality

Naruto inherited his mother’s speech tic, as he concludes his statements with “Dattebayo!” (!) while feeling upset. He is known for being noisy, enthusiastic, and unconventional, much similar to Hashirama Senju. Naruto is somewhat naive and slow to grasp concepts or situations, despite the fact that he responds to competition the best and is not hesitant to seek for help. Naruto is aware of his shortcomings and acknowledges that he acts tough to cover up his humiliation and irritation about them. Despite his innocence, Naruto can be highly perceptive, picking up on things others miss and recalling information casually obtained through conversation.
